Although the original edifice was demolished in the early 20th century, its spirit endured, and was succeeded in 1937 by the present-day Palais de Chaillot. Over the years, the Trocadero has been the scene of numerous historical and cultural events, and has become one of the symbols of the city of Paris.
Today’s Trocadero
