Our CSR commitments

For several years now, Vedettes de Paris has been committed to preserving the environment!

Our CSR policy is implemented voluntarily by Vedettes de Paris, an independent, family-owned company. It responds to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established by the United Nations States in the Agenda 2030, which carries the ambition to transform the world by eradicating poverty and inequality by ensuring its ecological and inclusive transition by 2030.

Developing and adapting our activities in line with planetary limits

In 2021, General Manager Marie Bozzoni and Site Manager Vincent Delteil will be taking part in the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat. This event accelerates the implementation of commitments that are already part of our DNA. We are embarking on an ambitious project to retrofit our boats, which will enable us to reduce our impact. We have also been able to implement other projects to adapt our activities.

  • Responsible purchasing policies
  • Reducing waste and phasing out single-use plastics
  • Reducing the carbon footprint of our activities
  • Retrofit of boats
  • 100% use of our infrastructures
  • Resource management

Guaranteeing the quality of our products and services

Our primary aim is to offer our customers an experience from which they can derive a sense of calm and wonder. Since 2021, we have been employing local tour guides to enliven our cruises, making each one unique. We are also working to constantly improve our restaurant and souvenir store offerings. We are committed to doing our utmost to ensure that every moment spent on our site contributes to this sense of wonder.

Reconciling people with nature

Our main working tool is the Seine. It is therefore imperative for us to preserve the ecosystem and biodiversity that surrounds us, and to raise awareness of the fragility of living things. Through partnerships and dockside events, we hope to help everyone learn about the importance of nature.

Ensuring social cohesion

Travel is not just for young people. Travel is what enables us to open up to others, to listen and understand them. In fact, it helps to pacify relations between people. So let’s try to travel rather than be tourists. We also want to share our knowledge and difficulties with our stakeholders through workshops. And let’s not forget our in-house staff, indispensable protagonists in the journey down Paris’s most beautiful avenue.
